Community

The Observatory is meant to be a resource for the ICT community to exchange ideas, experience and good practice. It needs the input from individuals and organisations who are willing to share their experience, give case studies, define concepts and suggest solutions. 
 
There are several ways for you to become involved and contribute to the Observatory. The simplest is to read the content of the pages and use them for your benefit.
 
If you want to contribute to the discussion in the forum, then you need to . A registered user or an author can provide feedback on any aspect of the Observatory and its content. They can also input text, i.e. case studies, concepts, ethical issues, solutions, or technology descriptions, you need to register as an author. Authors can input these items which then need to be approved by an editor.
 
You can also be an editor who approves submissions and solicits new ones. You cannot register to be an editor but you can contact the system owners and they can provide you with editor status.
 
The whole system requires community support and input. We believe that it is important to have the Observatory in order to ensure that ICT research and innovation is undertaken in a responsible manner. Please to make sure that the Observatory can fulfil this role and serve the ICT community.
